We are delighted to celebrate Alan Morgan, Programme Director for the UCD Professional Certificate and Diploma in Creativity and Innovation for Educators, on receiving a UCD Teaching and Learning Award for Exceptional Contribution to Learning. Alan was one of just 15 university-level recipients selected from an incredible 3,046 nominations, a testament to his impact on education at UCD.
Alan’s work at UCD Innovation Academy supports educators across primary, post-primary, and third-level education, equipping them with the creative confidence, an entrepreneurial mindset and innovation skills to transform learning environments. His passion and leadership inspire those he teaches, fostering a culture of curiosity and creativity.
This accolade follows another remarkable achievement in 2024 when Alan was named European Entrepreneurial Leader of the Year in Higher Education at the prestigious Triple E Awards in Lisbon, Portugal. This award recognises his exceptional contribution to entrepreneurial education and his dedication to empowering educators with the tools to drive meaningful change in their classrooms and institutions.
