UCD Innovation Academy is hosting a two-part workshop in the Shackleton Lounge on Tuesday, May 16th, from 10:00 – 12:00 & Tuesday, May 23rd, from 09:30 – 13:00. Both workshops are specifically for UCD Researchers.
This upcoming workshop is part of a series of workshops, in collaboration with UCD Research Careers, for the professional development of UCD Researchers.
This workshop is a Design Thinking mini-sprint in two parts learning problem-solving methodology by working in teams to solve real-world problems identified from the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals framework.
Participants will understand and learn the 5-Step Design Thinking process, how it has been applied to solve problems, and how they may enhance their own problem-solving abilities. Participants will gain a deeper appreciation for how the process works in practice and leave with a clear idea of how they can apply Design Thinking in their day-to-day work.
Both workshops will take place at the Shackleton Lounge, UCD Innovation Academy, O’Brien Centre for Science, with morning coffee & pastries included.
UCD Researchers can register for the event via Infohub or contact researchcareers@ucd.ie.
