UCD Innovation Academy invites you to unlock and increase your creative capacity and innovation potential at our upcoming talk and workshop with University of Calgary’s Dr. Robert Kelly, Associate Professor and Academic Coordinator of the Collaborative Creativity for Social Innovation & Strategic Design graduate program in education.

How do we increase the creativity capacity and innovation potential of individuals and groups? Creativity capacity is the level of complexity in which an individual or group can engage in creative practice at a point in time. Creativity development is the growth in creativity capacity and innovation potential over time.

Join Dr. Robert Kelly from the University of Calgary as he shares his research on theoretical and practical frameworks for creativity development and collaborative creativity across educational and organisational contexts from his most recent research and newest volume (in progress) Creativity Development: Towards a New Educational Ecosystem and his previous book Collaborative Creativity: Educating for Creative Development, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (2020).

This will be followed by a highly interactive creativity jam session where we all discuss and examine these concepts in more detail. Bring your ideas, questions, and a sense of humor to this energetic journey as we explore how to enhance creativity, collaboration, and innovation growth and potential.
